Todd and Carrie Bennett have been running Hinetai since 2004. Their relaxed attitude and friendly nature along with their love of boating and the water shine through when they talk.

“The Hinetai is a boat full of character. She is comfortable, warm and dry.  We want people to relax and have fun.  We don’t worry too much if you spill your drink or track a few scales around.”

We take pride in our safe ship management system.  Hinetai and on board Safety Equipment are compliant to all Maritime Safety Authority standards.

About Hinetai
The vessel Hinetai is 12.25mtrs, with a 280hp Detroit engine, has a semi displacement hull and is double diagonal kauri with fiberglass. She was constructed in 1977 and started out as a mail boat; later she was turned into a commercial fishing vessel..

The Skippers
Our skippers are fully qualified and have vast backgrounds of many years in the boating and fishing industry. You will find your skipper will be fun and approachable, easy going and willing to help out with all aspects of your fishing experience.
